Brunk Auction House, 117 Tunnel Road

SPECIAL VENUE! BRUNK AUCTION, 117 TUNNEL ROAD, ASHEVILLE

John Capers found a new passion after retiring, collecting. John will share the importance of preserving family history, heirlooms, and artifacts. He says, “If You Do Not Start Collecting Yesterday Today – There Will Be No Tomorrow.”   John tells us that maintaining a link to the past builds pride in the family and employees.  He weaves wonderful stories and historic facts from his journeys chairing the Merion Golf Club’s Archives Committee in Philadelphia.  John retired seven years ago, after a successful career in various roles of print and television media. He has turned his dedication to inspiring golf clubs to create their archives and historical committees.

Andrew Brunk is known for his appearances on the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW and he will share his talents with the Family Business Forum.  Two lucky members can bring their family treasure and see Andrew provide a free appraisal, complete with a history lesson, and revealing truths about the collectibles.  Let Cindy Clarke know if you would like your family treasure sized up.
