Employee engagement is at an all time low, with Gallup reporting numbers as high as 70% of today’s employees checked out, unmotivated, and disengaged at work. Companies and organizations are scrambling to create programs, hiring experts, and initiating training to reverse the trend. Berstein and Associates did a study that estimated that companies will spend more than $700 million dollars just this year trying to correct the problem. Unfortunately, despite their efforts that problem is only expected to increase, with estimates reach as high as 85%. Why, because what we are doing, how we are going about it, is all wrong. It is time to turn employee engagement on its head; it is time for a new approach.

Just Own It is a practical how-to book for professionals and business people looking to master the skill of employee engagement. This book is a master plan of how to attract, retain and develop the best talent and remain competitive in this economy.
